We have assisted you the best attire to choose for your team building day, physical activities and numerous adventures are waiting for you and wearing appropriate clothing for a thrilling outdoor adventure is a must. Some choices are up to you but we highly recommend to bring something waterproof for the sake of fun and to be cautious with what might interfere your performance.

Aside from the heavy baggage that will ruin your happiness, it is best to consider the things better handled than left in our house. You surely don’t want to miss all the fun and exciting moments just because your luggage is too hassle to bring, right? To help you out, we listed the efficient things you need not forget!

Things to Bring on Team Building Day

Daypack

You might have settled with backpack simply because you’re using it in work and in social gatherings that you think you can use it as well on your trip vacation, right? Well in a daypack, it is meant to survive for years and built to be tough so if you get hooked on traveling and hiking, taking care of your things won’t be a problem anymore. It’s really hard to choose what the best daypack to buy but every penny you’ll spend on it is surely worth it.

Sunblock

There are many sunblocks that vary from sun protection factor (SPF) and higher SPF number means you have more protection but the increase in number offers a minimal difference. Sunscreen cannot protect you 100% but it will help you against skin cancer or skin aging and sunburn. But to remind you, getting SPF below 15 will only protect you from the latter. And also, when it comes to “water resistant” doesn’t mean it is “waterproof” because there’s no such thing like that, but if you encounter a water-resistant label in front of it, check if it lasts for 40mins or 80mins. To make sure, apply sunblock every 2 hours and more often if you swim from time to time.

Sunglasses

Wearing sunglasses adds to our look and fashion sense but it’s more useful than being an accessory. It prevents dust and small particles hit your eyes especially if you’re on the road and when you go hiking on the elevated ground. It protects your eyes being damaged from stray of UV light that can damage your eye’s retina. So check not just the price tag of your preferred sunglasses but also the label, it should fully block both UVA and UVB rays to make sure it’s worth your money.

Hat and Bandana

It is way better to go out when the sun is up and to ensure that you won’t get irritated with extreme heat that will hug you on your escapade, I highly suggest to wear hat and bandana to protect your head from heat and avoid a headache from it. It will also serve as a face towel as well once you started sweating because of the physical activities you’ll be doing.

A granola bar or jerky

You’ll never know when you’re going to hungry, it might be at the middle of the road or onset of activities but to be sure that you’re not be leaving empty-handed, a granola bar or a beef jerky is always on the go to rescue you. Because you cannot simply bring pots and ingredients to your outdoor happenings, so it is best to have a meal on the go which will generate your energy right away!

Basic first aid kit for small scrapes

No one can predict when there will be an accident and being prepared is way better than being not. We cannot avoid scrapes and minor cuts while doing certain actions when having fun but we can avoid making it worse with a well-stocked first aid kit. Spending your time outdoors means spending the time with risks, be cautious and never forget this.

Camera

It is best to have a good picture and remembrance when traversing outdoors. The camera is still different from your handy device that could be used to post something on your social media accounts but is it really frame-worthy like photographs from a camera? The good thing about here is that you’ll be more careful and strict in taking photos because you’re not just clicking the shutter button to capture the moment, you’ll be more aware with the elements within. It’s really good to have something that will bring back memories, but it is more important to focus and enjoy the moment you wouldn’t want to miss.

Toilet paper

Packing up a normal roll of toilet paper could save you in so many situations. You might need it if you’re going to eat something greasy or if you want to clean something off from your clothes. And the most reliable part, it will save us from a call-of-nature kind of emergency that we cannot control sometimes and we can never say that it’s not going to happen while we are enjoying our moment with our teammate outdoors!

Heavy-duty sandals

There are so many conceptions about heavy duty sandals but I’m going to break the myths for you. Not because they are not a closed type footwear doesn’t mean that they’re not capable to last, its sole even provide grip for a long-lasting walk and safer avoidance of slippage. And the good thing about it is that even though it gets wet, it easily dries because of materials used on it. Nonetheless, it is very easy to wear but it’s very hard to be wary so better invest with this heavy-duty sandal than heavy duty shoes that are too inconvenient to use outdoor escapade.
